The Acute Leukemia Advocates Network (ALAN) was set up in 2017 by a dedicated group of global patient advocacy representatives.

Today, our esteemed steering committee is still composed of advocates who have successfully led leukemia advocacy groups. Together, they are ideally equipped to lead ALAN in order to deliver tailored services to patients and carers around the world. Hailing from the UK, Germany, Canada, Brazil and Kenya, our leaders understand that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to the development of support services in leukemia, but that each region has its own specific needs and requirements.
