Samantha Nier is the ALAN’s network director.

Before, Samantha has been working in the area of patient advocacy for a number of years. Trained as a biologist, she has a scientific background and has been working for 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry, in various fields including Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety and Clinical Development.

Samantha speaks fluent French and English and is currently refreshing her knowledge of Italian, Spanish and sign language. Based in Switzerland, she teaches yoga, baby swimming and scuba diving in her free time.
