Catherine is the President / CEO at Abrale – Brazilian Lymphoma and Leukemia Association and also the CEO at Abrasta – Brazilian Association of Thalassemia.

Family physician and healthcare executive, Master in Public Health and certified Patient Experience Leader in Brazil, Catherine has been dedicated to improve health outcomes, equitable access to diagnosis and appropriate treatment, support and quality of life for people with cancer.

Almost 20 years of experience supporting the consolidation of public health and social protection policies in Brazil and LAC. She has expertise in Preventive and Social Medicine & Family Medicine, and a consistent work as a public health specialist and health advocate in Hematology, Oncology and OncoHematology.
