FCL (Colombia)

Fundación Colombiana de Leucemia y Linfoma (FCL) offers individual emotional support with professional psychologists and through contact with surviving patients. It also offers this support through support groups.

They provide information and education to the patient and their caregiver regarding their diagnosis, self-care and health system, through big conferences for patients, educational days and educational material, among other activities.

They also work on advocacy initiatives to influence public health policies and develop research projects to learn more about the needs of patients. We recently developed a study with patients older than 18 years, diagnosed with acute leukemia.

They have participated in different processes of citizen participation such, as the construction of clinical practice guidelines for patients with leukemia and lymphoma in Colombia.
