ASH 2025

In December 2025, ALAN’s team actively participated in the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting, the world’s premier event for hematology research and clinical advancements. Our presence at ASH 2025 strengthened ALAN’s role as a global advocate for people living with adult leukemias and ensured that the patient perspective remained central in discussions shaping future research and treatment pathways.
Throughout the meeting, ALAN representatives engaged with leading clinicians, researchers and fellow advocacy organizations to exchange insights on emerging scientific developments, clinical trial innovation, and patient-centered care models.

ALAN also its bi-annual members and supporters meeting where updates on projects and plan for the following year are being presented.

ASH remains also a key forum to build strategic industry relationships, ensure patient perspectives inform research priorities, and support collaborative initiatives. ALAN held a series of planned and ad-hoc meetings with industry partners. These engagements offered the opportunity to:
- Review ongoing collaborative programs and discuss impact, future steps, and alignment with 2026 strategic priorities.
- Receive updates from industry on pipeline developments, trial design considerations, and regulatory news relevant to AML, ALL, and related disorders.
- Advocate for improved patient access, expanded geographic inclusivity in clinical trials, and better integration of patient-reported outcomes (PROs).
- Discuss data-sharing opportunities, including participation in advisory boards, expert consultations, or patient-insight activities.

We also participated in the FDA Patient meeting where we discussed decentralized clinical trials, the role of communities and advocates in drug assessment and patient experience data.

Participation in key scientific sessions and poster presentations allowed us to gather up-to-date knowledge on therapeutic progress across all adult leukemia subtypes, and you can find the reports here:
Until we meet again, we wish you all Happy Holidays !
