ALAN is collaborating with Scientific Education Support (SES) on Know AML to ensure that the acute myeloid leukemia (AML) community has access to the latest information and resources, providing the best possible support and care for patients with AML and their families.
Know AML is a global education and awareness initiative that provides patients and carers with the information, resources, and support they need to deal with AML.
In addition, Zack Pemberton-Whiteley (ALAN’s Chair) joined the Know AML ambassador group. Similar to Know ALL, Know AML is also guided by a highly experienced global ambassador group who meet regularly to steer and guide the initiative, founded in 2017. The ambassador group consists of patients and carers, patient advocates, healthcare professionals, and industry representatives. Their responsibility is to propose awareness initiatives, provide concepts for support and education resources, share their experiences and learnings from advocacy heritage, and endorse materials before circulation among the AML community.
